Mike was born in quiet coastal town of Stuart, Florida. His parents who are avid golfers, introduced him to the game at the age of three. He received a junior membership at the age of 7 to the local county course. He played high school golf and twice qualified for states. Mike's golf career continued through college, where he was successful enough to twice be awarded Academic All American status. He double majored in History and Economics. After college Mike became a weekend golfer and pursued a career in secondary education, serving as the Women's Head Golf Coach at Martin County High School in his home town of Stuart, Florida where he instructed and mentored the girls all the way to States. He decided to use the gift of golf by following his younger sister, Lauren, in becoming a PGA Professional. Mike started at St. James Plantation on The Members Club grounds crew in March of 2012. He transferred to The Members Club golf staff that summer as a PGA apprentice. In January of 2013, Mike was honored to become the Tournament Director and held the title with distinction till January of 2015. His hobbies outside of work revolve around following world current events, economics, military history, and he is an avid car enthusiast.
