Laurie Adams is a seventeen year Class A PGA Professional. A graduate of Siena College, she competed on the golf team and many NYS Women’s Amateur events. Laurie continues to enjoy competing in Carolinas PGA Section events. She attends National and Carolinas PGA Teaching and Coaching summits, Dave Pelz short game school and Hank Haney "teaching the teacher” seminars. Most recently, Laurie worked in Miami, FL at the Jim McLean Golf Academy studying the top 100 tour players golf swings using the JC Video system and Eight Step Swing. Having provided instruction for Men, Ladies, Juniors and Seniors, Laurie is not a strict method golf instructor. Students learn many different ways. All segments of the game deserve attention for improvement overall – the long game, the short game, course management and the mental game. Having developed students' golf games over the years results in increased consistency and lower scores. It is fun developing beginner golfers and refining single digit handicap golf games so that each person’s golf game shows improvement and scores are lower. Most recently, with her love for the game and passion for fitness, Laurie attended Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) and is a certified TPI golf instructor. Having a golf instructor equipped to preform golf screenings will extend our members golf performance at a higher level. Playing golf at an individual’s best without causing injury is important to students with practice techniques that are effective.
