Allen Hylton grew up just north of Durham, NC in a small town called Bahama. He currently resides in Little River, SC with his wife Lindy and 2 children Cale and Isla. Allen graduated from the Golf Academy of America in 2008 with an Associate�s Degree in Golf Management and a primary focus on instruction and club fitting. Allen likes to think of himself as more of a golf coach than an instructor. He feels this creates more of a team atmosphere which allows the student to feel like they have the freedom to be more creative and take ownership of their own golf game. This team atmosphere is a great relationship builder between the coach and the student. Allen compliments his skill in instruction with in-depth product knowledge as a club fitter with many different manufacturers. Allen was elected to membership of the PGA in April of 2015 and is excited to be part of the team here at St. James.
